Missouri Botanical Garden is a botanical garden located in St. Louis, Missouri. It is the oldest botanical garden west of the Mississippi River and was founded in 1859. The Garden is open every day of the year except Christmas Day. Admission is free to members and children ages 12 and younger, and $10 for seniors and non-members. It was established in June 1859 by William Rockhill Nelson (1841–1915) and Samuel Bumgardner.
