Saint Louis Science Center

Saint Louis Science Center (SLSC), located in St. Louis, Missouri, is a science museum that offers hands-on exhibits, interactive demonstrations, and educational programs for people of all ages. The center first opened its doors to the public on September 10, 1963 as the Saint Louis Museum of Science and Natural History. In 1991, it merged with the Saint Louis Children's Museum, which resulted in the renaming of the center to its current name.

Experience

The Saint Louis Science Center is home to more than 700 exhibits, which are spread out across three floors. The first floor is devoted to exhibitions about the natural world, including a life-size model of a blue whale and a planetarium. The second floor is home to interactive exhibits about science and technology, while the third floor is home to the center's IMAX theater. The Saint Louis Science Center offers a variety of programs for visitors of all ages. The center hosts summer camps for kids, as well as classes and workshops for adults. It also offers birthday party packages and special events throughout the year.

You can also dine at the Science Center. The center's restaurant, called SCI-Café, serves salads, sandwiches, and pizzas made with fresh ingredients. There's also a coffee shop on-site that serves hot drinks and snacks.

The Saint Louis Science Center is open every day of the week except for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Admission prices vary depending on age, but discounts are available for students, seniors, and military members. The center also offers free admission to members of the St. Louis community.
