Saint Ferdinand Park is a historic park located in Florissant, Missouri. The park has a 24-acre lake, a pool with a bathhouse, boating facilities, and a fishing pier. It also has two shelters with space for 100 people. This historic site can be rented out as an event venue.
The park is located on land that was originally owned by Auguste Chouteau, one of the founders of St. Louis, Missouri. Chouteau had a home which still stands in Valley Park, Missouri and is now known as The Hermitage. After his death, the land was sold to Henri Menard who came from Kaskaskia, Illinois with his wife Marie Therese Chouteau. Their daughter married Zenon Trudeau, a fur trapper and trader from St. Louis. In 1833, their daughter Marguerite Caroline married Michel B. Menard who later purchased Chouteau's land for $1,000 in 1840.
Today, Saint Ferdinand Park is owned by St. Louis County and is the site of annual festivals, daily visitors, and nature trails.

There are also educational opportunities while visiting Saint Ferdinand Park. One of them is the "Friends of the Trail" program. This program teaches about the environment while walking, biking, or running on trails within Saint Ferdinand Park. Another activity the park hosts is the "Hikes of Saint Ferdinand." This collection of hikes provides people with more than 15 hiking options every Saturday throughout the summer months of June and July. Additional activities the park hosts are "Netflix at the Park," "Family Movie Nights," and many more.
The park is open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., unless otherwise posted by signs or gates closing for weather conditions or other reasons. The park also requires people staying after hours to pay during daylight hours, unless otherwise posted.
