White Birch Bay Aquatic Center

White Birch Bay Aquatic Center is located in Hazelwood and 5 miles from Florissant, Missouri. It is a year-round, multi-purpose facility that offers aquatic activities from swimming to scuba diving.

The White Birch Bay Aquatic Center was opened in 1989 and expanded 5 years later to add an indoor pool, weight room, locker rooms and a classroom. In 2012 the center expanded again with a water park featuring a zero-entry play structure, a lazy river and a water slide. The amenities in the aquatic center includes:

• a 50-meter competition pool with a diving well
• an indoor heated and cooled Olympic-size pool (84’ x 32’)
• a zero depth entry play structure with water slide. The play structure is 2 stories high and has a total of 3 slides, 1 large slide, 1 medium twisty slide and a small tube slide.
• a lazy river pool with inner tube water slides. The lazy river starts at either side of the play structure, one on the ground level and one on the second floor. At their intersection is a large tipping bucket that dumps 250 gallons of water every 6 seconds .
• a hot tub with seating for 15 people
• locker rooms including showers and changing rooms
• a concession area with restrooms
• 2 party rooms available for rentals

White Birch Bay Aquatic Center is open 7 days a week from Memorial Day to Labor Day and on weekends during the rest of the year. The aquatic center hosts numerous programs for all ages, including summer day camps, lap swim, after school activities and adult fitness classes. It also hosts several competitive sports, including United States Diving Association-sanctioned diving practices.
